Can you believe how quick the year has flown by? Friday, we sadly said good-bye to our student teacher, Mrs. Roberts. She is a wonderful teacher and we will miss her greatly! We wish her the best life has to offer as she starts teaching her very own private kindergarten class on Monday!

Mrs. Roberts' Last Day

4 Special Guests Visit Our School
Our students were very excited when 4 soldiers from Fort Hood walked on stage at Good Morning Trail. The soldiers came to thank our school for sending a banner to Fort Hood. The soldiers spent the day visiting classrooms and helping out in P. E. Our class was able to spend 30 minutes with the soldiers. The kids were very excited to meet our special guests. We will be writing and sending care packages in the near future, as our new friends will be deployed to Afghanistan in January.

Pilgrim Project
Mrs. Wutzke's class joined our class to work on an awesome Thanksgiving project. We divided the classes into a group of Pilgrims and a group of Wampanoags (native americans). The students researched all about the first Thanksgiving. As you enjoy our class presentations, see if you learn a few new facts.

Pumpkin Book Report
Our students read a book for our October book reports. They then decorated a pumpkin as a character from their book to present to the class!
Veteran's Day Letters

After memorizing the Preamble of the Constitution, our class honored those who have sworn to protect the Constitution. We wrote letters to several people who are serving our country. With the help of one of my friends, Capt. Stratton, we were able to send our letters to Capt. Glenn Niles who is serving in Iraq. The letters above are a few samples of the letters that traveled across the world.
